Our mission at SAW is to foster conversations about this thing we all love (or love to hate): film/TV. Many of our features are designed with you in mind. Your opinions, to be more to the point. You have ’em. We want to hear ’em.
Question of the Day (QOTD) is exactly what it sounds like. It’s a film/TV-related question that we put to you, the reader. The comments section below is like the feedback box at work; except, in this example, we actually read what you write and care about what you have to say.
There is an abundant of western movies that have been made over the course of cinema, but one stands out more than the rest.
So, the question I ask today is: What is your favorite western movie?
I’m going to give a shoutout to The Quick and the Dead (1995). I hadn’t heard of this movie until it hit Netflix around 2011 and I actually found myself enjoying it. It’s directed by Sam Raimi and it has a fairly decent cast to it, as well. With Sharon Stone in the prime of her popularity and an extremely young Leonardo DiCaprio. It’s far from perfect but deserves one watch, if nothing else.
So what about you, screenagers? What is your favorite western movie?
I’ll see you in the trenches.
