What TV Shows and Movies Are You Catching Up On? Vol. II

Our mission at SAW is to foster conversations about this thing we all love (or love to hate): film/TV. Many of our features are designed with you in mind. Your opinions, to be more to the point. You have ’em. We want to hear ’em.

Question of the Day (QOTD) is exactly what it sounds like. It’s a film/TV-related question that we put to you, the reader. The comments section below is like the feedback box at work; except, in this example, we actually read what you write and care about what you have to say.

We’re currently in a new Golden Age of Television with new series being released every week on a streaming service or two. Combine that with new releases in theaters every weekend and your watchlist can get to be quite long.

So the question I ask today is: what TV shows or movies are you planning to catch up on when you find some free time?

On the TV side, I’m hoping to finally watch the latest seasons of Better Call Saul and Westworld. I also wouldn’t mind catching up on all the Arrowverse shows, but that would take a good month of my time. I stopped watching all the shows around the Invasion! crossover event, so I think that was back in 2016. Superman and Lois looks really good though, so maybe I’ll just watch that instead. Oh, and I’m rewatching Ted Lasso right now, so I am excited to get to the new season 2 episodes!

For films, I’m hoping to make a dent in all the horror titles I’ve got sitting on my shelves unwatched. At the very least, I hope to get through my box sets of the Saw and Slumber Party Massacre franchises. Crossing off a couple ’80s classics like An American Werewolf in London and Aliens would be nice too. Some 2021 titles that I’m hoping to watch soon include Godzilla vs. Kong, Zack Snyder’s Justice League, and Army of the Dead.

So what about you, folks? What entertainment are you currently indulging in when given the chance?

I’ll see you in the trenches.
