Which Director Made Your Favorite Filmography From the 1990s?

Our mission at SAW is to foster conversations about this thing we all love (or love to hate): film/TV. Many of our features are designed with you in mind. Your opinions, to be more to the point. You have ’em. We want to hear ’em.

Question of the Day (QOTD) is exactly what it sounds like. It’s a film/TV-related question that we put to you, the reader. The comments section below is like the feedback box at work; except, in this example, we actually read what you write and care about what you have to say.

SAW is (finally) kicking off 90’s month this week. We all have a favorite director who has made some of our favorite movies over the years. Considering we’re choosing from a single decade, our options are narrowed down a slight bit.

So, the question I ask today is: Which director made your favorite filmography from the 1990’s?

I’m going to have to go with Kevin Smith. The first film of his that I saw was Dogma and it was only a matter of time before I hunted down everything else that he had made at the time. I owned all of his movies at one point in time, even Jersey Girl. Maybe some his stuff haven’t aged all that well but they are still fun to revisit every once in a while.

So what about you, screenagers? Which director made your favorite filmography from the 1990’s?

I’ll see you in the trenches.
