Who Was the Biggest Miscast Character in a Comic Book Movie?

Our mission at SAW is to foster conversations about this thing we all love (or love to hate): film/TV. Many of our features are designed with you in mind. Your opinions, to be more to the point. You have ’em. We want to hear ’em.

Question of the Day (QOTD) is exactly what it sounds like. It’s a film/TV-related question that we put to you, the reader. The comments section below is like the feedback box at work; except, in this example, we actually read what you write and care about what you have to say.

When actors get cast to play characters in comic book movies, some are so mis-cast that one can only wonder what led them to getting cast in that specific role.

So, the question I ask today is: Who was the biggest miscast character in a comic book movie?

Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor in BvS and Jared Leto as Joker in Suicide Squad have to be some of the worst casting choices of all time and probably a big reason why the DCEU failed. It’s amazing how WB was able to cast amazing actors for their heroes but fumbled so hard on the villains. I’m only picking these two because they are extremely easy answers and I want to see what the rest of you come up with!

So what about you, screenagers? Who was the biggest miscast character in a comic book movie?movies
