Lupita Nyong’o & Joseph Quinn to Star in ‘A Quiet Place: Day One’

We now know who will headline A Quiet Place: Day One.

According to Deadline, Joseph Quinn and Lupita Nyong’o have been tapped to star in the upcoming Quiet Place prequel. Quinn is best known for his star-making role as Eddie Munson in the fourth season of Stranger Things while Nyong’o recently appeared in Black Panther: Wakanda Forever.

Day One will be written and directed by Michael Sarnoski (Pig) based on an idea from John Krasinski, who directed and starred in the first two films. The film is expected to be unconnected to the main films and will instead expand the Quiet Place universe. A Quiet Place Part III is also in development, with Krasinski returning to direct that picture.

A Quiet Place: Day One is currently scheduled to open in theaters on March 8, 2024.
