Warner Bros. has released an official trailer for Barbie, starring Margot Robbie as the titular doll. Let’s take a look.
Okay, Greta Gerwig is immediately making it clear that this isn’t going to be like one of those awful direct-to-video Barbie films. I mean, half of this trailer is an homage to the 1986 film 2001: A Space Odyssey. What do you have up your sleeve, Gerwig? I’m excited to find out!
Barbie stars Margot Robbie and Ryan Gosling as Barbie and Ken, with a supporting ensemble cast that includes Will Ferrell, Simu Liu, America Ferrera, Ariana Greenblatt, Ncuti Gatwa, Emma Mackey, Alexandra Shipp, Michael Cera, Issa Rae, Kingsley Ben-Adir, Rhea Perlman, and Kate McKinnon.
