‘Big Mouth’ Trailer Promises More Awkward Raunchiness in October

Big Mouth is a Netflix Original animated series that revolves around a group of junior high kids as they navigate the jungle of pre-teen angst, classwork, friendships, and of course, the Puberty Monster.

This series is chalked full of crude and uncomfortable humor as it deals with kids on the verge of or full-blown into the strangest chapter of most people’s life…puberty. However, as frank, as they are with the subject matter, there is an undeniable heartfelt message behind the vulgar language and images that have something for everyone to find relatable. This season seems to be setting its sights on sexuality with Jay’s bisexuality and Missy’s increased confidence in herself and the degree to which she knows what she wants. Definitely, they have to cover the famed “toxic masculinity” and the objectification of women. This season seems like it will have it all.

The series debut back in 2017 and is easily one of the streaming service’s best original programs. The Emmy-nominated adult animation series from creators Nick Kroll, Andrew Goldberg, Jennifer Flackett, and Mark Levin, also bolsters some terrific voice talent from Kroll, John Mulaney, Jessi Klein, Jason Mantzoukas, Jenny Slate, Maya Rudolph, Fred Armisen, Richard Kind, and more, and it’s easy to see why Netflix recently renewed the series through season 6.

Big Mouth season 3 hits Netflix October 4, 2019.
