Original story below.
Yesterday, multiple news sources reported that less than a month into production, Bond 25 has halted filming in Jamaica due to Daniel Craig twisting his ankle, while running and falling down awkwardly. He was immediately flown to the U.S. to be checked out by a specialist.
Luckily, today there is a report from Variety that Craig will be back “within the week” and filming will resume. Glad to hear it wasn’t anything too serious. I know there was a lot of back and forth about whether or not Daniel Craig was coming back for this film a year or so ago, but they managed to get him back and I’m really glad they did. I really want to see to see Craig continue in the role, but I also realize it may be time to shake things up again.
Plot Synopsis:
Bond 25 is directed by Cary Joji Fukunaga and co-stars Oscar-winner Rami Malek and Ana De Armas with Lea Seydoux, Jeffrey Wright, Ben Whishaw, Rory Kinnear, Naomi Harris, and Ralph Fiennes returning as well.
James Bond comes out of retirement April 8, 2020.
I’m really glad to hear Craig is ok. What are your thoughts on the Bond franchise these days?
