Brie Larson has found her next movie.
According to Deadline, Larson is set to star as Katy Silver and executive produce Paramount‘s feature adaptation of Rebecca Serle’s New York Times best-selling novel One Italian Summer.
Set against the breathtaking backdrop of Italy’s Amalfi Coast, One Italian Summer is a moving and magical story about the enduring bond between mothers and daughters. Following a devastating loss, a young woman is given an extraordinary opportunity to reconnect with her mother in a new light, leading to unexpected discoveries and a deeper understanding of love, life, and herself.
Harry Bradbeer (Enola Holmes) has been tapped to direct the Temple Hill Entertainment production. A theatrical release has already been set for Mother’s Day weekend, May 12, 2028. At this time, the only competition on that date is Warner Bros/New Line’s Final Destination 7.
