
Canadian-American actor Catherine O’Hara has died at the age of 71.
Per ABC News, O’Hara’s manager confirmed the news of her death Friday. Details surrounding her death are not known.
O’Hara’s career spanned five decades. She started her career in the sketch comedy series Second City Television (1976–1984) for which she won a Primetime Emmy Award. She transitioned into film, appearing in classics like After Hours, Beetlejuice, and Home Alone.
Most recently, she portrayed Moira Rose in the acclaimed sitcom, Schitt’s Creek, and appeared in HBO’s The Last of Us and Apple TV’s The Studio.
