‘Legion of Super-Heroes’ Trailer: Meet the DC Heroes in a Class All Their Own

Warner Home Entertainment has released an official trailer for Legion of Super-Heroes, the sixth entry in the DC Universe Animated Original Movies’ Tomorrowverse franchise.

I love a good shared universe and DC seems to do them the best… in animation. We all know how DC’s live-action shared universe is going…

Meg Donnelly will lead the voice cast of Legion of Super-Heroes as Kara/Supergirl. The film’s main cast also includes Harry Shum Jr. as Brainiac 5, Darren Criss as Clark Kent/Superman, Matt Bomer as Barry Allen/The Flash, and Jensen Ackles as Bruce Wayne/Batman. Cynthia Hamidi, Gideon Adlan, Ely Henry, Robbie Daymond, Yuri Lowenthal, Eric Lopez, Darin De Paul, Ben Diskin, Victoria Grace, Jennifer Hale, Daisy Lightfoot, and Zeno Robinson also star.

Plot Synopsis:

Welcome to the 31st century and the Legion Academy, where a new generation hones their powers with hopes of joining the Legion of Super-Heroes. Devastated by tragedy, Supergirl struggles to adjust to her new life on Earth. Taking her cousin Superman’s advice, Supergirl leaves their space-time to attend the Academy. There, she quickly makes new friends, as well as a new enemy with old ties: Brainiac 5. But a nefarious plot lurks in the shadows – the mysterious group known as the Dark Circle seeks a powerful weapon held in the Academy’s vault. Find out if the budding heroes can rise to the challenge in this all-new DC Universe Movie!

Legion of Super-Heroes releases on 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray and digital on February 7, 2023.
