DC Studios co-CEO Peter Safran just let slip who will be starring in the company’s upcoming DC Universe animated series Mister Miracle.

While speaking with IGN, largely about DC Studios’ newest movie Clayface, Safran announced that Josh Hutcherson (The Hunger Games) will voice Scott Free / Mister Miracle in the animated series, with Mackenzie Davis (Halt and Catch Fire) also on board as Big Barda. Both are expected to reprise their respective roles in any future live-action DCU projects.

The adult animated series is based on Tom King and Mitch Gerads’ Mister Miracle comic book miniseries from 2017–18. King serves as showrunner, having adapted his own comic for the eight-episode series.

Mister Miracle follows the journey of Scott Free / Mister Miracle, an escape artist and a member of the New Gods, and his warrior wife Big Barda when their home worlds of Apokolips and New Genesis go to war.

Nathan Fillion will also reprise his role as Guy Gardner / Green Lantern.
