Hot on the heels of the success of Disney’s Jungle Cruise, Deadline and The Hollywood Reporter are reporting that Disney’s reboot of the Haunted Mansion has added Rosario Dawson and Owen Wilson to the cast. They will be joining LaKeith Stanfield and Tiffany Haddish in the film. Dan Lin and Jonathan Eirich are producing with Justin Simien directing a Katie Dippold script.
Based upon the popular rides at Disney theme parks worldwide, the Haunted Mansion will be a reboot and will not be related in anyway to the 2003 comedy version starring Eddie Murphy.
As long as its still based in New Orleans and I find out why Brother Dave chased a bear into a cave I’m good!
Disney’s Haunted Mansion is set to begin filming next month in Atlanta. (Filming in Atlanta??? The ride is based in New Orleans!!)
