‘Evil Dead Rise’ Trailer: Witness the Mother of All Evil

Warner Bros. has released an official trailer for Evil Dead Rise, the upcoming fifth installment in the long-running horror franchise, Evil Dead. Let’s take a look.

I’m not the biggest Evil Dead fan, but I’m willing to give this a chance. At the very least it looks like something new for the franchise.

Evil Dead Rise stars Lily Sullivan, Alyssa Sutherland, Morgan Davies, Gabrielle Echols, and Nell Fisher.

Plot Synopsis:

Moving the action out of the woods and into the city, Evil Dead Rise tells a twisted tale of two estranged sisters, played by Sutherland and Sullivan, whose reunion is cut short by the rise of flesh-possessing demons, thrusting them into a primal battle for survival as they face the most nightmarish version of family imaginable.

Directed by Lee Cronin, Evil Dead Rise opens in theaters on April 21, 2023.
