Final ‘Stranger Things’ Season 3 Trailer

Netflix has just released the final trailer for Stranger Things season 3, and dammit do I love this show.

I love eighties movies and pop culture, but I also love a slow burn, season long drama. So, obviously, I love Stranger Things which has managed to blend both together perfectly over the course of two seasons.

The narratives are fascinating, the open theme is great, and there really isn’t much to hate about the show (except the season 2 episode that feels like it is setting up a spin-off; you know the one). The final trailer teases a darker season filled with more love and more evil. Oh, and it looks like that evil has latched onto Billy, the teenager that hot moms love to love.

It’s hard to fully express how much I want to watch this show right now. But first, I need to find someone with a Netflix account and bribe them to watch it with me.

Plot Synopsis:

It’s 1985 in Hawkins, Indiana, and summer’s heating up. School’s out, there’s a brand new mall in town, and the Hawkins crew are on the cusp of adulthood. Romance blossoms and complicates the group’s dynamic, and they’ll have to figure out how to grow up without growing apart. Meanwhile, danger looms. When the town’s threatened by enemies old and new, Eleven and her friends are reminded that evil never ends; it evolves. Now they’ll have to band together to survive, and remember that friendship is always stronger than fear.

The episode titles for the third season are: “Suzie, Do You Copy?,” “The Mall Rats,” “The Case of the Missing Lifeguard,” “The Sauna Test,” “The Source,” “The Birthday,” “The Bite,” and “The Battle of Starcourt.”

Stranger Things season 3 drops July 4, 2019 on Netflix.

What did you think of the final trailer? Is this how you will be spending your Independence Day?
