Dwayne Johnson’s DC Film ‘Black Adam’ Gets Release Date, Teaser Poster

On his Instagram account today, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson announced to the world that the long awaited superhero film Black Adam would be released on December 22, 2021!

Johnson also revealed a teaser poster/concept art for Black Adam by Jim Lee and BossLogic.

All I can say is, “It’s about time!” For those of you that have been living under a rock (not “The Rock”, but “a rock”) Black Adam has historically been the main antagonist to DC hero Shazam. Recently Black Adam has been best described as an anti-hero, who was created by Otto Binder and C.C. Beck in 1945. The film has been in developmental purgatory for years with Johnson slated to play the role since 2009. Jaume Collet-Serra is attached to direct. Granted, I had long hoped Johnson would play Lobo, but Black Adam is no slouch.

Warner Bros’ DC Extended Universe entry Black Adam is set for release December 22, 2021.

Can you smell what Black Adam is cooking? Either way, lets discuss it below!
