First Look at ‘Clerks III’, ‘The Wonder’ & ‘The Crown’ Season 5

A few first look images have been released recently, so let’s dive in and take a look!

Seen above is the first official look at Clerks III, the long awaited sequel to writer-director Kevin Smith‘s Clerks and Clerks II, courtesy of Vanity Fair.

In order, that is Trevor FehrmanBrian O’HalloranRosario Dawson, and Jeff Anderson reprising their roles as Elias, Dante, Becky, and Randal. The threequel will see Dante and Randal still “serving their life sentences at the Quick Stop.” However, “nowadays the pair own the store.”

Smith states that the film will follow Randal, who “survives a heart attack, a massive heart attack, quite like I did, and then winds up, you know, deciding that he’s wasted his life. But before he dies he wants to memorialize himself. He wants to make a movie. So our boys essentially wind up making Clerks.”

Clerks III is currently shooting in Leonardo, New Jersey, at the same locations as the original.

Are you ready for more Florence Pugh? I hope so, because she is set to star in The Wonder, a psychological thriller being helmed by Sebastián Lelio. The upcoming Netflix movie is currently in production in Ireland, and is based on the book of the same name by Emma Donoghue.

Per VarietyThe Wonder is a “psychological thriller inspired by the 19th century-phenomenon of the ‘fasting girls,’ it follows 11-year-old Anna O’Donnell, who stops eating but remains miraculously alive and well, and an English nurse Lib Wright (Pugh), who is brought to her tiny village to observe. Tourists and pilgrims amass to witness the girl who is said to have survived without food for months.”

In addition to Pugh, the cast includes Tom Burke, Niamh Algar, Elaine Cassidy, Kíla Lord Cassidy, Toby Jones, Dermot Crowley, Brían F. O’Byrne, and Ciaran Hinds.

Lastly, Netflix has released first look photos from The Crown upcoming fifth season, featuring Dominic West, Elizabeth Debicki, and Imelda Staunton as the next iterations of Prince Charles, Princess Diana, and Queen Elizabeth II.

Production on the fifth season began in July. Netflix has yet to announce a release date for the upcoming season, but we’ll keep you posted.
