First look images for Tron: Ares and The Crow have been released.
Jared Leto, star of Ares, shared the first look at the upcoming third Tron movie on X, with the caption, “ARE YOU READY?? TRON: ARES 2025. See you on the grid…”
In the upcoming science fiction film, Leto stars as “Ares, a computer program sent from the digital world into the real world on a dangerous mission to introduce artificial intelligence beings to humans. ”
Joachim Rønning is directing Ares from a screenplay by Jesse Wigutow. The film also stars Evan Peters, Greta Lee, Jodie Turner-Smith, Cameron Monaghan, Sarah Desjardins, and Gillian Anderson.
As for The Crow, a remake of the 1994 film of the same name, those first look images come courtesy of Vanity Fair (thanks to Deadline for rounding up the other two).
“Soulmates Eric Draven (Bill Skarsgård) and Shelly Webster (FKA twigs) are brutally murdered when the demons of her dark past catch up with them,” reads the official synopsis. “Given the chance to save his true love by sacrificing himself, Eric sets out to seek merciless revenge on their killers, traversing the worlds of the living and the dead to put the wrong things right.”
The Crow also stars Danny Huston, Isabella Wei, Laura Birn, Sami Bouajila, and Jordan Bolger.
Directed by Rupert Sanders, The Crow is scheduled to hit theaters on June 7, 2024.
