In a Date Announcement Teaser, HBO has announced the premiere date for the highly anticipated season 3 of Westworld.
Season 3 will officially premiere Sunday, March 15, 2020. The teaser doesn’t go into too much detail; in fact, it’s only a voice-over revealing current and future(?) events. It basically states that the system was working until it wasn’t, thanks to…you.
Whatever that means will likely be revealed during the 10-episode season 3. Along with the announcement, HBO confirmed this season’s guest stars: Aaron Paul, Vincent Cassel, Lena Waithe, Scott Mescudi, Marshawn Lynch, John Gallagher Jr., Michael Ealy, and Tommy Flanagan.
After a strong first season, Westworld got lost in its own mythology and timelines in the second season. At this point, I’m mostly interested in Ed Harris’s Man in Black. The second season didn’t exactly leave him in a place I wanted him to be left in, so we’ll see if season 3 is where I call it quits.
What are your thoughts on Westworld season 3? Will you be watching, or have you given up on the series?
