HBO Max Releases the ‘Peacemaker’ Intro for Everyone to Enjoy

In the Streaming Wars, no one is more desperate for new subscribers than HBO Max (okay, that’s a lie, it’s more like Peacock and Paramount+, but anyway). However, the streaming service has a secret weapon up its metaphorical sleeves and that is James Gunn.

The man behind Guardians of the Galaxy and The Suicide Squad is the mastermind behind HBO Max’s latest show Peacemaker, a DC Extended Universe spin-off starring John Cena. The series just recently dropped its first three episodes on the platform and by far the most talked about moment of the show is its opening intro.

Well, HBO Max knows that we’ve been talking about it and has gone ahead and released it for the public to view, free of charge. Maybe they think it will lead to more subscriptions. I mean, if I lived in the States and watched this intro I know I’d definitely be signing up to see what the rest of Peacemaker is like. That opening intro is the best intro I’ve seen in a long time.

Watch and dance along to the opening credits of James Gunn’s Peacemaker below.

Peacemaker is now streaming on HBO Max.

Is “Do You Wanna Taste It?” by Wig Wam stuck in your head now, too? Is this the best comic book television intro since who knows when? How many times have you watched the intro? Tell us below!
