Warner Bros. has released an official trailer for Justice Society: World War II. It is the newest entry to the DC Animated Movies line and is the first film to focus on the Justice Society of America.
I’ll watch it because I enjoy these films. I’m digging the new animation style. It definitely feels retro and should fit the time period well. I’m not sure we need modern day Flash time travelling to the past, but I’m not against it. How much do you want to bet though that when the Flash gets back to the present he’s going to bump into Wonder Woman and they’ll decide to form a modern day Justice Society… like a league of superheroes.
The voice cast includes Stana Katic (Castle), Matt Bomer (Doom Patrol), Geoffrey Arend (Batman: Hush), Armen Taylor (JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Golden Wind), Elysia Rotaru (Arrow), Liam McIntyre (Spartacus), Omid Abtahi (American Gods, The Mandalorian), Matthew Mercer (Overwatch), Keith Ferguson (Foster’s Home for Imaginary Friends), Darin De Paul (Mortal Kombat Legends: Scorpion’s Revenge), Ashleigh LaThrop (The Handmaid’s Tale), and Chris Diamantopoulos (Silicon Valley).
Plot Synopsis:
Justice Society: World War II hits Digital on April 27, 2020, and 4K UHD & Blu-Ray on May 11, 2021.
