Leslie Odom Jr. and Kate Hudson are the latest actors to join Knives Out 2.
The upcoming murder-mystery film will act as a standalone sequel to Knives Out, one of the best original films of 2019.
Odom Jr. and Hudson join a cast that includes Kathryn Hahn, Janelle Monáe, Dave Bautista and Edward Norton, as well as returning star Daniel Craig.
Plot details are being kept under wraps, but the follow-up is set to shoot this summer in Greece. That means we could be treated to an international mystery that Craig’s detective Benoit Blanc will have to solve.
Rian Johnson returns to write and direct the picture. Netflix, which took over the franchise from Lionsgate, will release the film onto its streaming sometime next year.
