‘Loki’ Trailer: The God of Mischief Needs to Fix Reality

Marvel Studios has released an official trailer for Loki. The upcoming Disney+ original series will follow the alternate version of Loki who escaped with the Tesseract in Avengers: Endgame. Based on the trailer, it looks like his escape caused a heap of timeline troubles.

This trailer goes a long way in actually showing the viewer what this series will be about. Apparently, because Loki travelled away with the Tesseract in 2012 after the Avengers messed with time in Avengers: Endgame he has caused the central timeline to create new branches of reality. I guess Loki will be recruited into the TVA to help fix his own mistakes.

I’m definitely interested in seeing a new take on the MCU’s Loki. Tom Hiddleston clearly loves playing the character and, with a second season already in development, it looks like he will be sticking with the character for at least the next few years. Which is great news for all of us fans!

Plot Synopsis:

Watch Loki—the imperious God of Mischief—who, after absconding with the Tesseract, is a fish-out-of-water when he lands in a world of trouble with the bureaucratic TVA (Time Variance Authority).

Loki premieres June 11, 2021 on Disney+.
