Michael Johnston in Early Talks to Join ‘The Mummy 4’

Reading Time: < 1 minute

Actor Michael Johnston may have just landed his first major role since starring in the record-breaking horror hit Obsession.

First reported by The InSneider and confirmed by Deadline, Johnston is in early talks for a role in the untitled The Mummy 4. No word yet on the role to be played by Johnston, but he’ll star opposite returning leads Brendan Fraser, Rachel Weisz, and John Hannah. So, yeah, I could see him playing the son of Fraser and Weisz.

Radio Silence’s Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett are directing the next Mummy movie from a script by David Coggeshall. The untitled movie is slated to hit theaters on October 15, 2027.

Who do you think Michael Johnston is playing? Can you see him as the new Alex O’Connell?
