Prime Video has released an official trailer for Carrie. The upcoming supernatural horror miniseries, based on Stephen King‘s debut novel, was developed by Mike Flanagan.
Carrie stars Summer H. Howell as Carrie White, cast in the legendary titular role following an extensive search that saw nearly 1,500 actors read.
The ensemble’s series regulars include Samantha Sloyan as Margaret White, Siena Agudong as Sue Snell, Alison Thornton as Chris Hargensen, Joel Oulette as Tommy Ross, Josie Totah as Tina, Arthur Conti as Billy, Thalia Dudek as Emaline, Amber Midthunder as Miss Desjardin, and Matthew Lillard as Principal Grayle.
Plot Synopsis:
Told across eight propulsive episodes, the series expands King’s cultural landmark, deepening its characters and tensions while following the small, everyday choices that build toward a single, shattering night in a gripping, deeply human story about kindness versus cruelty—and whether we’re witnessing the making of a hero, a monster, or something far more complicated.
All eight episodes of Carrie will be released on October 7, 2026, exclusively on Prime Video.
