‘Moonfall’ Trailer: Get Ready for the Dark Side of the Moon

Lionsgate has released a new official trailer for Moonfall. The upcoming disaster film hails from the mind of Roland Emmerich, the filmmaker who gave us Independence Day in 1996 and then nothing good since. Let’s take a look and see if this has any chance of being good.

I mean, it looks entertaining, but will it be good. That’s a question I’m going to let all of you answer for me. If you tell me it’s good, maybe I’ll see it in theaters. But probably, I’ll just wait until it’s on Netflix.

Moonfall stars Halle Berry, Patrick Wilson, John Bradley, Michael Peña, Carolina Bartczak, Charlie Plummer, Kelly Yu, Donald Sutherland, Eme Ikwuakor, and Maxim Roy.

Plot Synopsis:

In Moonfall, a mysterious force knocks the Moon from its orbit around Earth and sends it hurtling on a collision course with life as we know it. With mere weeks before impact and the world on the brink of annihilation, NASA executive and former astronaut Jo Fowler (Academy Award® winner Halle Berry) is convinced she has the key to saving us all – but only one astronaut from her past, Brian Harper (Patrick Wilson, “Midway”) and a conspiracy theorist K.C. Houseman (John Bradley, “Game of Thrones”) believes her. These unlikely heroes will mount an impossible last-ditch mission into space, leaving behind everyone they love, only to find out that our Moon is not what we think it is.

Movie Title hits theaters February 4, 2022.
