Christopher Nolan has begun putting together his next feature.
According to Deadline, the Oscar-winning filmmaker has returned to Universal for his next movie, which is expected to begin shooting in early 2025. Matt Damon is in talks to star.
That’s right, Nolan is putting the Oppenheimer gang back together. His new movie even has a similar release date: July 17, 2026. Maybe if Warner Bros. gets a Barbie sequel into development next year, we could get a Barbenheimer II?
As is the case with Nolan movies that aren’t biopics, we know nothing about the plot. The Hollywood Reporter mentioned that it might be a father and son story but that was quickly debunked. So, your guess is as good as mine.
