At the SAW offices we decided to rank the greatest male action stars of all-time. Don’t worry ladies you will get your turn, but the men are speaking right now (Quickly ducks). Action movies are all about cool guns, big explosions, high body counts, nasty bad guys, helpless victims, but most importantly, one bad ass mo-fo to step in and save the day. They might not be the best acted, but they are here for two things: To kick ass and chew bubble gum and they are all out of bubble gum! And make a lot of money and sequels and multiple action franchises that make a lot of money and sequels. Okay, so more than two things.
Below we ranked who we thought were the best at doing just that with great success with Arnold Schwarzenegger being crowned as our consensus number by being the only actor to appear on all of our lists. Sylvester Stallone comes in second showing up on all but two lists with Jackie Chan and Mr. Wick himself, Keanu Reeves in a tie for third place.
