I just couldn’t contribute, ’cause I didn’t want to jinx ’em. Lots of films that are on these lists, though.
Shit. Is that enough to jinx ’em?
Exactly. How many are going to be delayed again. There should have been a poll.
I just want my first theatrical experience in what will be two years to be Dune.
At least a quarter!

The Green Knight. Dune. Minari. F9. All close to making my own list too.
They probably should have over most of what you put on there.
My entire list could be just Dune but I am very intrigued about The Green Knight as well.
Same re: Dune.
Praise be.
I just started re-reading it since it’s been a hot couple decades since I last read it. This is a rare occasion where I think splitting the book into two movies (please make the second one!) makes a lot of sense.
I should probably do the same.
I was considering re-watching the Lynch movie and the Miniseries to prep but re-reading the book is probably a better idea.
I’ve never seen the Lynch movie. As many people tell me to run like hell from it as say it’s worth at least checking out.
I also never watched the miniseries, but I think that’s because it came out as I was reading the books. Then I just never got around to it. Is it worth tracking down?
It is. I enjoyed it quite a bit back in the early aughts.
These three would probably be in my actual Top-5 with Dune and No Time to Die.
Coming 2 America
The Hitman’s Wife’s Bodyguard
The Suicide Squad
These are some other ones that I’m at least curious about that I didn’t see mentioned yet:
Godzilla vs. Kong
The King’s Man (here’s hoping Golden Circle was an aberration)
Top Gun: Maverick (should’ve been Top Gun 2: The Danger Zone, damnit)
The Matrix 4 (I really want to know what Lana is doing with this)
West Side Story (I really want to know what the ‘Berg is doing with this)
2021 is pretty damn loaded after all the 2020 delays. And I still won’t believe Uncharted exists until I am watching it.
Count me in on Matrix 4. I’ve never been so intrigued
I’m doing my own list next week but I will say, my number 1 wasn’t on anyone’s lists
The Green knight and Dune, definitely. I’m not sure about some of these others. Might have to watch some trailers.
