‘Prey’ Trailer: The Predator Lives to Hunt

20th Century Studios has released an official trailer for Prey, the fifth installment in the long-running Predator franchise. Let’s take a look.

Okay, this film actually looks like it could be really good. At the very least, Prey looks to give fans of the Predator franchise something new. I’m all for it. However, I’m very against the terrible poster you’ll see below. Seriously, is that the 2003 Hulk green? God awful.

Dan Trachtenberg (10 Cloverfield Lane) directed Prey, which stars Amber Midthunder, Dakota Beavers, Dane DiLiegro, Stormee Kipp, Michelle Thrush, and Julian Black Antelope.

Plot Synopsis:

Set in the Comanche Nation 300 years ago, Prey is the story of a young woman, Naru, a fierce and highly skilled warrior. She has been raised in the shadow of some of the most legendary hunters who roam the Great Plains, so when danger threatens her camp, she sets out to protect her people. The prey she stalks, and ultimately confronts, turns out to be a highly evolved alien predator with a technically advanced arsenal, resulting in a vicious and terrifying showdown between the two adversaries.

Prey begins streaming on August 5, 2022 on Hulu.
