Down the Tubes is a (semi) regular feature where we, the SAW staff, share our favorite movie-related videos with the Wasteland.

Here’s something fun for Halloween. It’s a recently discovered lost film reel with footage dating back to Halloween 1960 that contains disturbing evidence that a young Michael Myers was once a subject of the Silver Shamrock Corporation’s top-secret experiments, conducted under the codename PROJECT SHAMROCK.

The film seems to offer startling new clues about the origins of his psychotic and violent behavior. A copy of this reel was obtained and uploaded to the YouTube channel Jason Eisener. Watch it before it’s taken down!

Were you fooled? I sure hope not. Project Shamrock: The Secret Origins of Michael Myers Exposed is an unofficial, non-commercial Halloween fan film, shot over two days on 16mm and 8mm film in Dartmouth and Halifax, Nova Scotia. It was directed, written, and edited by Eisener (Hobo with a Shotgun). Dave Brunt stars as The Janitor.
