On June 3, 2019, ScreenAge Wasteland officially launched. So if you passed second grade math, you should realize that today marks our one year anniversary.
SO LET’S CELEBRATE SCREENAGERS!
To commemorate actually being able to survive in the Wasteland a whole year, the month of June will be dedicated to the theme of “favorites”. You’ll be seeing reviews of favorite movies, monsters, shows, etc. in addition to some fun shenanigans!
Oh, and did I mention NEW MERCH! That’s right, until you start buying it we’re going to keep making it!
In addition to new merch (debuting later this month), here are some things you can look forward to seeing hit the site in the coming year:
- More of the same: SAW Canon, Power Rankings, Top 100s, Review Series (RomCom Rewind, Fear Flashback)
- Face/Off Battle for Best Director Finals
- Theme Months for July and November (you’ll find out what they are when the time is right)
- Movie Book Club (I swear we’ll think of a better name): we’ve been tossing around the idea of a MonsoonVision style book club where we pick classic movies like The Godfather, Gone with the Wind, The Sting, and once a month sit down together to watch and discuss them together. It’s like MonsoonVision only with good movies! (am I allowed to say that?)
