Marvel Studios has released an official trailer for Secret Invasion, an upcoming Disney+ series set in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Let’s take a look.
This looks so fucking good. This looks like a grounded take on the Secret Invasion storyline, which honestly I’m all for. The less CGI spectacle the better in my opinion.
Samuel L. Jackson leads Secret Invasion as Nick Fury. The rest of the returning MCU cast consists of Ben Mendelsohn as Talos, Cobie Smulders as Maria Hill, Martin Freeman as Everett K. Ross and Don Cheadle as James Rhodes / War Machine.
New additions to the MCU include Kingsley Ben-Adir as Gravik, the leader of a group of rebel Skrulls; Olivia Colman as Sonya Falsworth, a special agent who is an old ally of Fury’s; and Dermot Mulroney as United States President Ritson while Emilia Clarke, Killian Scott, Christopher McDonald, Carmen Ejogo, and Charlayne Woodard have been cast in disclosed roles.
Plot Synopsis:
Secret Invasion will premiere in early 2023 on Disney+.
