Lucasfilm has released an official trailer for The Acolyte, an upcoming Star Wars series set at the end of the High Republic era. Let’s take a look.
This actually looks interesting, at least to me. The post-Return of the Jedi era just hasn’t been hitting for me lately. With Acolyte, it’s a whole new set of characters witnessing the fall of the High Republic era 100 years before the events of Episode 1. Could be cool, but we’ll have to see.
The Acolyte stars Amandla Stenberg, Lee Jung-jae, Manny Jacinto, Dafne Keen, Joonas Suotamo, Carrie-Anne Moss, Dean-Charles Chapman, Jodie Turner-Smith, Margarita Levieva, Rebecca Henderson, and Charlie Barnett.
Plot Synopsis:
The first two episodes of The Acolyte premiere on Disney+ on June 4, 2024.
