The final movie in the Skywalker saga received its first showcase at a panel during the Star Wars Celebration Chicago today, where the title and a teaser trailer have been revealed.
Director J.J. Abrams and Lucasfilm president Kathleen Kennedy have ended months of fan speculation and gave us some subtle hints about the movie.

The Rise of Skywalker is reportedly set one year after the events of The Last Jedi. It has been described as the definitive end of the Skywalker saga.
The Rise of Skywalker hits theaters on December 20, 2019.
