ABC announced its fall schedule for the 2019-20 TV season along with a first look at their new fall shows. One that I’m excited for is the Cobie Smulders-led Stumptown.
Ever since Castle ended on the Alphabet a few years back, the network hasn’t been able to pull me back with a new hour-long drama. They almost had me with The Good Doctor (which I’m sure I will watch one day), and I still religiously watch Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., but nothing else has caught my eye drama-wise.
Stumptown looks like it could change that. Smulders in the lead guarantees my How I Met Your Mother love will be in full swing, plus the car scene looks pretty dope. (Then again, most pilots have a bigger budget than the rest of the episode count.) All that said, Stumptown might be the show to pull me back into live network watching.
Plot Synopsis:
Stumptown airs Wednesdays this fall on ABC.
What did you think of the trailer? Has anyone here read the comics?
