‘The Night Clerk’ Trailer: Ana de Armas is Back in Another Murder Mystery

Saban Films has just released the first trailer for The Night Clerk, starring Tye Sheridan (Ready Player One), and SAWards Breakout nominee Ana de Armas (Knives Out).

The trailer immediately makes Sheridan the number 1 suspect in the murder (of I believe Ana de Armas’ character). However, de Armas is known for playing less than moral characters (Knock Knock) in the past. I wouldn’t be surprised if her character is framing him. I mean, she did seem quite familiar with the hotel to notice that Sheridan was new there.

Ana de Armas was definitely one of the breakout stars of the second half of the 2010s. It looks like her star power will continue to grow in 2020. She’s also slated to appear in No Time to Die this year.

Plot Synopsis:

Hotel night clerk Bart Bromley, a highly intelligent young man on the Autism spectrum, uses secret surveillance cameras to record guests in an effort to improve his social interaction skills. While on duty, he witnesses a murder in one of the rooms but his suspicious actions land him as the lead detective’s number one suspect.

The Night Clerk hits theaters February 21, 2020.
