American actor Tim Curry has died at the age of 80.
According to TMZ, the actor — who had been plagued with serious health issues for more than a decade — passed away late Tuesday night at his Los Angeles home. No foul play is suspected.
Curry is best known for portraying Dr. Frank-N-Furter in the musical The Rocky Horror Show, a role he reprised in the 1975 musical film The Rocky Horror Picture Show. His other notable film credits include Rooster Hannigan in Annie (1982), Darkness in Legend (1985), Wadsworth in Clue (1985), the Concierge in Home Alone 2: Lost in New York (1992), Long John Silver in Muppet Treasure Island (1996), and Gomez Addams in Addams Family Reunion (1998). He also played Pennywise in the IT miniseries.
