‘Titans’, ‘Doom Patrol’, & ‘Pennyworth’ Renewed for Additional Seasons | DC FanDome

Titans and Doom Patrol will both be returning for fourth seasons. HBO Max has renewed both DC Comics adaptations for another season. The news was revealed at last weekend’s DC FanDome event.

Titans follows the next generation of DC superheroes as they come of age and find where they belong. Doom Patrol follows “a group of superheroes who all suffered a horrible accident that gave them superhuman abilities, but also left them scarred and disfigured.”

Also renewed was Pennyworth, a Batman prequel series that follows Wayne family butler Alfred Pennyworth. The series takes place in “an alternate post-WWII universe where fascists vie for the British government, and Alfred engages in complex espionage with the No Name League to aid truth and justice winning the day in this version of post-war Britain.”

The third season renewal also comes with a new network to call home. Pennyworth will move from Epix to HBO Max. The new season will launch in 2022 and will take place after a five year time jump. The first two seasons of Pennyworth will premiere on HBO Max in early 2022.
