Paramount has just released the first Top Gun: Maverick trailer and it looks really damn good!
Tom Cruise is back as Maverick and this looks like it has the potential to be leagues ahead of the original film. There’s almost a Logan-esque vibe to Maverick this time around, he’s chosen to remain a Captain for whatever reason. It’ll be interesting to see why that was.
Cruise told Hall H at San Diego Comic-Con 2019 that all the aviation is real and that no CGI was used. Damn straight we’re getting some legit Cruise-worthy stunts!
