Last night at D23, Walt Disney Animation talked about its upcoming film slate. Here’s all the good stuff from that presentation.
Zootopia 3
The big news of the night was that Zootopia 3 is on the way. Ke Huy Quan and Ginnifer Goodwin took the stage to announce the new animated installment, which will focus on birds.
Hexed
Jodie Foster and Walton Goggins were announced to be joining the voice cast of Hexed. Foster will voice the main villain, Queen Celeste, while Goggins is Beef Roger, a pink coat-wearing, three-eyed green cat who will befriend Hailee Steinfeld’s young teen witch.
Clay

Zootopia 3 wasn’t the only new movie announced at D23. Walt Disney Animation Studios also announced Clay, which will head to theaters in November 2028 with Kieran Culkin leading the voice cast.
Culkin will voice the protagonist, Flip, who might be a little in over his head.
“We have a rich history of stories that celebrate inspiring mentors and their aspirational students. So, with that in mind, we asked ourselves one very important question: What if the next Disney mentor stunk?” said Walt Disney Animation chief Jared Bush. “And he does, and his name is Flip, and he has chosen to be his village’s next great mentor and is assigned his first student — a literal ball of clay born that very moment, named Mushi. So, like all inspiring mentors, Flip runs away in the middle of the night, only to discover that Mushi is inescapable and pure chaos, and now out in the wild, Flip must keep Mushi alive on a journey through a fantastical forest.”
