Well it was a big week for new releases, and they did cause a bit of a shake up in the top ten. But none it was enough to beat out Hobbs & Shaw which took first again this week. But Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark opened strong enough to beat The Lion King in its fourth week. Dora and the Lost City of Gold took fourth, beating out Once Upon a Time in Hollywood. The Art of Racing in the Rain and The Kitchen took sixth and seventh, pushing back Spider-Man: Far From Home and Toy Story 4 to eight and ninth. And don’t ask me what Bring the Soul: The Movie is, because I never heard of it, but in my little bit of digging it was the third movie in a series and global event release.
What did you guys see this weekend?
