‘The Mandalorian’ Season 3.08 “Chapter 24: The Return” Spoiler Thread
WHAT I WATCHED THIS WEEK
Quasi (2023) – I was hoping this would be funnier. It’s not terrible, it’s just not anything spectacular by any means. I like how the cast plays multiple roles but as a whole the movie just falls flat. I’ve actually never heard Greta Van Fleet until the end of this film and my god they really are a terrible Zeppelin ripoff. 2/5
The Drowning Pool (1975) – A sequel to the 1966 film Harper, Paul Newman returns and the cool as a cucumber private detective. Overall the film is fine, just like the original. It’s a bit slow and kinda disjointed, but I think that is because Walter Hill’s adaptation was so rewritten that only two of his scenes made the final cut. 3/5
