Weekend Fallout: The Trusty Servant

Reading Time: 2 minutes

The Weekend Fallout is an unsafe place to discuss most things in the reel and real world.

Let us know what you have been watching recently on the big and small screen. Excited about any upcoming releases? Doing anything fun this weekend? Simply sitting around in your underwear eating dang quesadillas while watching movies and endlessly scrolling through social media? Let us know below!

WHAT I WATCHED THIS WEEK

Punisher: One Last Kill (2026) – I really dig Jon Bernthal as Punisher. He brings a level of realism and gravitas to the role. Sure he barely wears the skull on his chest, but who cares. This Marvel Special Presentation is pure mayhem and violence and I dug it. Can’t wait for Spider-Man: Brand New Day. 4/5

The Swimmers (2022) – This would never have been on my radar, but my wife put it on. It tells the true story of two sisters escaping war-torn Syria to achieve their dream of swimming in the 2016 Rio Olympics. 4/5

Greenland: Migration (2022) – Just like the first one, it’s a good movie, just not one that I’ll ever rewatch again. It’s cool that they show what happens to them five years after the comet crashes in the first film. But it’s really just more of the same trying to get from one place to another. 3/5
