What Are Your Horror Movie Hot Takes?

Our mission at SAW is to foster conversations about this thing we all love (or love to hate): film/TV. Many of our features are designed with you in mind. Your opinions, to be more to the point. You have ’em. We want to hear ’em.

Question of the Day (QOTD) is exactly what it sounds like. It’s a film/TV-related question that we put to you, the reader. The comments section below is like the feedback box at work; except, in this example, we actually read what you write and care about what you have to say.

Hot takes. We all have them. Iron Man 2 is better than Iron Man. The Snyderverse is actually good. Etc. etc.

It’s Halloween, so let’s hear them spooky hot takes. The question I ask today is: what are your horror movie hot takes?

Sailor and I were just arguing about this hot take of mine. I think Halloween (2018) is a better legacy sequel than H20: Halloween 20 Years Later (or whatever the title actually is). It’s scarier. There are better kills. It’s not set at a boarding school. The Michael Myers mask doesn’t look like a cheap knockoff. I could go on, but I’ve made a case. If you want to douse cold water over this hot take, I’ll see you in the comments!

So what about you, screenagers? Let’s see if anyone else share your hot takes!

I’ll see you in the trenches.
