Our mission at SAW is to foster conversations about this thing we all love (or love to hate): film/TV. Many of our features are designed with you in mind. Your opinions, to be more to the point. You have ’em. We want to hear ’em.
Question of the Day (QOTD) is exactly what it sounds like. It’s a film/TV-related question that we put to you, the reader. The comments section below is like the feedback box at work; except, in this example, we actually read what you write and care about what you have to say.
There are a lot of comic book movies that don’t end up manifesting. Whether that be from studio mishandling a property or a franchise failing to get another installment due to the previous movie receiving poor reception from the audience and bombing at the box office.
So, the question I ask today is: Which comic book movie doesn’t exist that you wish did?
Okay, so I don’t particularly “love” the Andrew Garfield The Amazing Spider-Man movies — and I certainly don’t believe a third installment would be any good, (nor would it be anywhere near as cool as that poster looks) — but having Garfield’s Spidey go up against Tom Hardy‘s Venom seems like a no-brainer. I don’t want to say that it’s a shame this didn’t get made, but there is a lot more on this poster that seems like it could work if completing the trilogy were to have happened. … and I just want to see Black Cat finally get her due on the big screen someday.
So what about you, screenagers? Which comic book movie doesn’t exist that you wish did?
I’ll see you in the trenches.
