No one has had a 2026 quite like Zendaya.
Zendaya not only wrapped up her Emmy-winning role in Euphoria with its third and final season, but she also starred in two billion-dollar hits—The Odyssey ($1.7B) and Spider-Man: Brand New Day ($2.5B) — with a possible third on the way with Dune: Part Three (in theaters Dec. 18).
Now, she’s closed a deal to star in an untitled new A24 sci-fi film written and directed by Alex Garland, per Deadline. This continues Zendaya’s collaboration with the studio after Euphoria and the dark rom-com The Drama, which also released this year. She’s also attached to lead A24’s Ronnie Spector biopic Be My Baby from Barry Jenkins.
Plot details for Garland’s latest are being kept under wraps. The movie is expected to begin shooting next year. A24 has been glued to Garland since his Oscar-nominated breakout Ex Machina, teaming with him on Warfare, Civil War, Men, and his upcoming big-budget adaptation of the video game Elden Ring.
