The Abbott family is getting their finale.

Per Deadline, John Krasinski will return to write, direct, and produce A Quiet Place Part III, which will be released in theaters on July 9, 2027. Krasinski unveiled the release date with an Instagram post that will likely fly over the heads of his followers who don’t know anything about the acclaimed horror franchise.

A Quiet Place Part III will be the fourth installment in the franchise, after A Quiet Place (2018), A Quiet Place Part II (2021), and A Quiet Place: Day One (2024). The first Quiet Place movie follows the Abbott family as they try to survive in a post-apocalyptic world inhabited by blind aliens with an acute sense of hearing. Krasinski directed and starred in the first movie as well as its 2021 sequel, A Quiet Place Part II. The first two movies also featured Emily Blunt and Millicent Simmonds. The franchise’s first spinoff, Day One, was loosely connected to Part II, bringing back Djimon Hounsou as Henri.

No cast has been announced yet for Part III, but we’ll be sure to keep you posted when Blunt inevitably signs on.
