Jakub Erol’s poster for The Terminator is what got me interested in foreign movie posters, so it seems only fitting that Erol’s poster for the Polish release of Star Wars is the first alternative poster we’re featuring for Star Wars month.
Behold.
It’s amazing to me that Erol could take a character as ridiculous as C3PO and make him seem somehow sinister, but he did. And the juxtaposition of the fonts with the artwork adds to the overall effect, making the whole thing…unsettling.
