Amazon MGM Studios has released the first official image from Masters of the Universe.
Shared on the studio’s X account, the image offers fans their first look “at Nicholas Galitzine as He-Man with the Sword of Power in the upcoming film.” Filming on the live-action Masters of the Universe reboot has been underway since January 2025, with Travis Knight directing from a screenplay by Chris Butler. Check out the first-look image below.
Besides Galitzine, the cast for Masters of the Universe includes Camila Mendes as Teela, Jared Leto as Skeletor, Idris Elba as Duncan/Man-at-Arms, Morena Baccarin as The Sorceress, James Purefoy as King Randor, Alison Brie as Evil-Lyn, Charlotte Riley as Queen Marlena, Jóhannes Haukur Jóhannesson as Malcolm/Fisto, Sam C. Wilson as Trap Jaw, Hafthor Bjornsson as Goat Man, Kojo Attah as Tri-Klops, Sasheer Zamata as Suzie, Jon Xue Zhang as Ram-Man, and Christian Vunipola as Hussein.
Masters of the Universe is scheduled to hit theaters on June 5, 2026.
